Week 7: Image Trace

Craft
This art piece was made from Adobe Illustrator. The tools used were the pen tool, the paint brush, the rectangle marquee, and other tools. In the creation of this image, the goal was to utilize tools to copy a realistic image manually. The first step would be to get an image that is not a photograph. The next step would be to create layers based on the placing of the things that are in the image.( Make a layer for the foreground and background) Then the tracing tools would be uses to outline the space that the object or area take s up. When compete the traced part should be changed to no color so that the image can be seem clearly. The last step would be to color the objects to areas copied and moved layers to your liking. This is how an image is traced in Adobe Illustrator.
Concept
The first thing on this image that should be seen is the the pyramids. Other than being the large object in the piece itself, it is symbolic to the new ideal of human memorial and honor for a god-like king. The next thing that should be seen is the sky because it is colored with many hues of blues and white. The last thing that should be seen is the sandy ground that is slightly colored black and brown due to the time of day it is.
Composition
This piece is telling the audience that theses ancient ruins are very important to the  history of man kind. With this said, it is also important because of the history of war that knocks the importance of these ruins off the chart because they have been manipulated and tampered with. It is important that we recreate these grand ruins so that when they are destroyed due to human evil, there is a trace of the ruins in some way.
