My name is Tazhe Grace, and I am a student of Saint Xavier University. I am currently in school as a freshman working towards a bachelors in Graphic design. I will officially be a Graphic Design major during the year 2019, and also will be at work with a mainstream animation company. I am a former athlete that takes part in bodybuilding and weight training to keep shape. I love to draw and create new art digitally and manually. I also love to sing and watch lots of animation an reality Television. I got perfect attendance, honor roll, good citizenship, most improved, and honors awards throughout my high school education. During my college years, I will strive for straight A's and B's so that  can get on the dean's list. I also plan to make a lot of friends that I will never forget. After I graduate from college, I plan to go to Japan, Egypt, and Spain to study abroad and become a trilingualist.

Craft is defined how the piece or product was manufactured; in other words, how was the art or object made. Now we are talking about art in the sense of anything that can be made and seen.  This could be on a monitor, screen, or a billboard, picture frame, etc. In today's class, I learned a little about the craft. When something is crafted, it is built or made through the use of hands and tools with a level of skill. Craftsmanship is the word, which is one who creates or performs with skill or dexterity especially in the manual arts. The more advanced a skill type is in craft, the better the product. A good example of this would be the craft of tools in the ancient Neolithic era. There tools were a craft of wood, stone, and strong webbing. As the years pasted, they began to become more advance in there craft that the tools were more recognizable and used. The same idea can be applied to the art of the Classical era, when the idea of realism and hierarchy was trump. The artist at this time created art that was very well done, portraying real life and representing anything from the Kings and Queen to religious ideals. The work was so compelling that it brought forward a question: how did the artist manage to create this piece? What skills do they possess that enabled them to craft this an what did they do?

Composition is defined as the way something is put together or arranged. As an artist, I understand that many things in art vary from composition simply because of the style of art or purpose of the artwork. Most importantly, the composition may be different or the same because of the elements and principles of design, which are as followed: elements are color, attributes, shape, texture, space, and form. Also, the principles are unity, balance, hierarchy, scale, and emphasis. All of these are example of composition and why it may be different in terms of being put together. As I listed the elements and principles of design, I realized that these are all visual, and can be arranged differently, as said before, to make something with a new composition.  When art is made and viewed, the main question is why did this person arrange their artwork in a specific format. Of course, they would have found a focus that would enable them to make a connection of one artist to another. Ex. Why I the color blue more dominate in this piece when this is a artwork of excitement. Why did you use a thicker texture to represent something that is generally soft. This freedom to change up composition sets the toll for style.

Concept is defined as an abstract or generic idea generalized from particular instance. Lastly, the main reason that art is critiques and classified is because we have the ability to use our mind. Our mind when it comes to art, is very active, processing color, feelings of goodness or hatred, and the thought of something being disgusting or tasty. In what is now the modern time, we artist create things for the benefits our image, the people as well as demonstrating new at styles all across the world. Examples of this would be something is changed by color mixed with smudged/ancient. These together will make a new style that had never been seen; therefore, the style because known. Today, artist try to create things never been done today because it attracts the audience, makes them think, and keeps them focused on there most favorite style of drawing.
